Adult Swimming Lessons

We offer adult swimming lessons in Ibiza. Whether you are learning to swim for the first time or looking to build your confidence in the water, want to overcome a fear or improve a stroke, finally master front crawl breathing or perfect the art of swimming effortless butterfly (it is possible!) we can instruct and enable you.  It’s never too late to learn!

If it’s confidence you need building or a fear conquering we’ll be right by your side, working at your pace and in a calm and relaxed environment.  Our experienced, friendly and supportive instructors will equip you with the skills you need to swim.  We can explain the mechanics of swimming so that you understand how we move in the water, making sure that you feel in control.

If you can swim but would like to improve your technique or learn a new stroke, how to dive or turn we can work on that with you.  Our instructors will be in the water demonstrating and teaching the correct technique and underwater checking that you’re doing it correctly.  Swimming with the correct technique will transform your experience in the water – it makes swimming easier and much more enjoyable!

Let us know what it is you want to improve and we’ll work with you to get you there.

I can’t thank you enough for the help you gave me in my swimming. It is now a pleasure where it used to be difficult and stressful. Hopefully we’ll continue my lessons next summer.

Costas - 2012

Just to thank you for all your help and tips. I have been swimming since I got back and I can still see and hear you givng me instructions which is good. Today my strokes got much better… Wishing you all the best!

Uzo - 2008

One to one tuition can be a bit of a luxury, but I felt I needed it as it was so long since I’d tried to swim and I was really lacking in confidence. I couldn’t have wished for a better teacher than Ruth – she was neither too hard or easy with me, she got the balance just right and had me coming back for a second course of lessons a few months after the first. And I finished up by being so much more at ease in the water, able to manage a short set of strokes completely unaided. I’m grateful for her support and her patient explanations, both in the pool and the sea. I’ve still got a way to go, but she helped give me the start I needed. At 53, I realised I hadn’t left it too late!
