'I recently booked some coaching sessions with Ruth Osborn at Ibiza Swim to help with both my fear of open water swimming and my stroke technique having taken up Triathlon.  Booking the sessions was easy to arrange via email and the Ibiza Swim website before leaving and Ruth was happy to travel anywhere convenient for me.

We decided on three sessions with a day or two in between to enable me to practice and allow the sessions to take effect. Because I was nervous of the sea we met at Santa Eulalia’s broad sandy beach with its beautiful calm blue jelly fish-free water. Before our sessions we went through the paperwork and discussed about what I wanted to achieve from the sessions.

Ruth swam with me observing my and making suggestions about how to improve, giving me a few things to concentration on, making sure not to overwhelm me. At all times Ruth was aware of my need to feel more comfortable just being in the water and throughout my sessions Ruth’s calm and sunny demeanour made the experience very enjoyable and I am now more comfortable just being in the water. I look forward to swimming the length of Santa Eulalia bay with her next year and I am well on the way to improving my stroke and ridding myself of my fear of open water thanks to Ibiza Swim'.

'This summer my two boys, age four and seven, had twice a week swim lessons in the pool at our villa. The progress they made in seven weeks exceeded the years of lessons they had been having back home in London!

By the end of the summer both boys were swimming confidently with no floating aids. Our seven-year-old learned to perfect his strokes and both boys were taught about pool and boat safety. I cannot recommend their teacher Ruth enough. The boys adored her and looked forward to each lesson with great excitement!'
